What's Happening?

Dublin City Council and the National Transport Authority are developing Grow College Green, with the design led by Irish architects, Scott Tallon Walker Architects, in partnership with OKRA, urban design and landscape architects from the Netherlands. The project is shaped through public feedback — with a strong focus on inclusion and accessibility.

Currently, the design team are working on the preliminary design, they are incorporating feedback from the emerging design consultation held in June 2025. Further public consultation is planned to take place as the design progresses. 

The Dublin City Council Project Team is working towards the completion of the preliminary design by the end of 2025 with a view to submitting a planning application in the first half of 2026.

Construction will roll out in phases to reduce disruption — delivering a lasting civic space rooted in Dublin’s unique heritage.
