8.5.11 Accessibility for All

Dublin City Council will address and support agencies addressing the pertinent transport/access/egress needs of people with mobility impairment and/or disabilities, including the elderly and people with children, to create a city environment that is safe and accessible to all.

Dublin City Council will develop a city centre pedestrian network inclusive of facilities for people with mobility impairment and/or disabilities, linking key public buildings, shopping streets, public transport points, and tourist and recreational attractions (refer also to Appendix 15: ‘Access for All’).
