Merrion Square Conservation Plan

Dublin City Council’s Parks, Biodiversity and Landscape Services is developing a contemporary tearooms for Merrion Square Park. The proposed building will be carefully integrated into the historic landscape, with attention to scale, materials and its relationship to the Georgian surroundings.

The tearooms will enhance the park by offering refreshments, accessible toilet facilities and a welcoming space to support cultural events and community use. The project aligns with the goals of the Merrion Square Conservation and Management Plan, which guides the sensitive evolution of this important public space.
