Local Environmental Improvement Plans (LEIP)

A number of local environment improvement plans (LEIP) or village improvement plans, have been prepared in conjunction with the relevant local area committees for a small defined area. It is an objective of Dublin City Council to prepare these plans insofar as priorities and resources permit.

A list of LEIP’s can be found in the City Development Plan. The primary focus of these plans is the improvement of the public realm and those parts of the urban neighbourhood which are for use by everyone, and includes streets, squares, parks, public buildings and accessible ground floor uses.
