Dublin City Parking Control Bye-Laws 2020

At the January 2020 meeting of Dublin City Council it was agreed that a public consultation process be initiated in relation to the proposed amendment to the Dublin City Council Parking Control Bye-Laws 2019. Members of the Public were advised that they could make submissions from Monday 27th January to Monday 9th March 2020 in relation to the proposed increase in parking charges.  Having considered the submissions received, it was agreed at the Council meeting held on Monday 6th December 2021 that the proposed changes to the parking charges would be accepted.

The Parking Control Bye Laws 2020 will come into effect on Tuesday 1st February 2022. 

As a result there will be an increase to parking charges in all zones across the city by an average of 10%.  A reduced rate will apply to motorists using the Parking Tag App.  The rate for customers using cash/card and customers using the Parking Tag App are outlined in the table below:
