If you're a householder who has unwanted Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), you can bring it to Ringsend and North Strand Recycling Centres for disposal. This service is free.

Drop off your old Television, Washing Machine, Dish Washer, Fridge, Microwave.
There is no charge for households to drop off Household equipment, the cost is covered by the WEEE Ireland Producers Compliance Scheme.
We do not offer a household collection service
Alternatively you can take WEEE back to a retailer. The take-back system is free. It operates on a one-for-one and like-for-like basis - the appliance you are returning must be of a similar type or perform the same function as the one you are buying (so you can return an old toaster when you buy a new one but you can't return a toaster when you buy a new microwave). The item you wish to dispose of is returned to the retailer where you are buying the new product, not to the retailer where the item was originally purchased.
When you purchase a new product you have up to fifteen days to return a similar old one to the retailer. If the new product is being delivered to your home, you can arrange for the collection of the old one there and then. If you do not wish to avail of the free collection of waste equipment on delivery of new equipment, then you can return it to the retailer’s premises at any time.

Community Electrical Recycling
Recycle IT is a community-based social enterprise specialising in recycling Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
It will take any electrical items with a plug or a battery, including dual-purpose business and household appliances like computers, TVs, printers, washing machines, dishwashers, cookers and fridges. It also take small battery-operated devices like electric toothbrushes, mobile phones and pocket radios.
