Once upon a time in a land far far way (1884 in Thomas Street and Capel Street to be precise) Dublin's first two municipal public libraries were opened. And now, 150 years later, you're using QR codes and phones to open our website.
To show just how far we've come, we’re inviting you to check out our ebooks, audiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers. All for free through BorrowBox.
Whether you're already a member, or new to our libraries, everyone is welcome to explore our fantastic eResources.
To help children to navigate starting school, libraries have put together a ‘My Little Library Book Bag’, available for free for every child starting school in 2024 to help them to prepare for this big step. Children and their parents or guardians can collect the bags at any library throughout the country.
Fadó fadó, i dtír i bhfad uainn (1884 ar Shráid Thomáis agus Sráid Chéipil le bheith cruinn), osclaíodh an chéad dá leabharlann phoiblí cathrach de chuid Bháile Átha Cliath. Agus anois, 150 bliain níos déanaí, tá tú ag baint úsáid as códanna QR agus gutháin chun teacht ar ár suíomh greasáin.
Chun an dul chun cinn atá déanta againn a chur in iúl, táimid ag tabhairt cuiridh duit súil a chaitheamh ar ár ríomhleabhair, closleabhar, ríomhirisí agus ríomhnuachtáin agus iad go léir saor in aisce trí BorrowBox.
