As of 2023 this course will be offered free of charge. Commencing in October 2023, classes will be held on Monday evenings at Dublin City Library and Archive, 139-144 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, and will include two visits to archive services.

If you do, we have an exciting new product available in two of our libraries which you will want to know about.The Magic Table (or ‘Tovertafel’ in Dutch) is an award-winning innovation from the Netherlands, and it uses specially designed technology to help people with mid-to-late stage dementia and also adults with learning disabilities. It consists of a series of colourful and fun interactive light games projected onto the surface of a table which respond to hand and arm movements, and which stimulate physical and cognitive activity as well as encouraging social interaction.
