Social stories explain social situations to autistic children and help them learn ways of behaving in these situations. These stories are sometimes called social scripts, social narratives or story-based interventions.
Dublin City Libraries is delighted to partner with the Irish Deaf Society in the ISL StorySign Project, a national project to produce filmed stories for children, signed in Irish Sign Language.

4,500 Early Learning and Care settings, including registered childminders, to receive free book bags under the First 5 Little Library Initiative. The project aims to support the development of little libraries in early learning and care settings and encourage a love of books and reading among our youngest children.
