Flood Forecast/Warning
For the purposes of flood forecasting and warning, DCC monitors river, rainfall, tidal and waste water levels, by means of a network of level gauges, rain gauges, cameras and weather stations.
Most of this instrumentation is located in Dublin city. Because the city can also be affected by weather events & conditions in adjoining areas, some instrumentation is located in Counties Wicklow, Meath and Kildare as well.
