Wolfe Tone Park

Wolfe Tone Park and Wolfe Tone Street underwent a major environmental improvement scheme, led by Dublin City Council and co-funded by the ERDF’s Designated Urban Centres Grant Scheme.

Everything within the park was designed with intent, including:

  • The feature lawn.
  • The retention of the existing mature trees and horticulture.
  • The conservation and recognition of the park’s history as a graveyard.

The redesign and refurbishment of Wolfe Tone Street created a more pedestrian friendly environment with new public lighting and street furniture and the use of a historic materials palette, reinforcing the character of the area.
