Possible future works

The house has a suspended timber floor which remains uninsulated. Access to the floor is currently hampered by existing laminate floor finishes overlaid over the original floorboards. The owner intends to insulate the floor in tandem with any future replacement of modern floor finishes.

A fully zoned heating system is also under consideration as the house relies on an electric immersion for summertime hot water supply.

The owner considers servicing of boilers and gradual replacement of lamps with low energy type important maintenance issues in relation to energy efficiency.
